
SUNMI Care Premium-Replacement Service
SUNMI Care Premium - Replacement Service is a value-added service specifically designed for SUNMI 3rd generation products. It aims to reduce business downtime through a rapid exchange device model, ensuring the efficient operation of customer devices. When a device experiences a failure within the warranty coverage, which can be directly replaced with a new or fully functional device without going through the repair process, ensuring the continuity and efficiency of their business.
Applicable Models
Applicable models: Limited to all brand versions of SUNMI's third-generation models (refer to the model list published on the SUNMI official website).
Non-applicable product types: × Accessories: SUNMI Blink, 2D bar code scanners/SUNMI U2, commercial 89-key keyboards, SUNMI power banks, Mini cash drawers, 80mm kitchen cloud printers, 58mm thermal receipt printers, etc. × Discontinued or obsolete models: Refer to the list of discontinued or delisted devices published on the SUNMI official website. × Special channel products: Products sold through e-commerce channels are subject to the relevant policies of the e-commerce platform; customized products are subject to the terms of the sales contract.
Purchase Conditions & Effectiveness Rules
Purchase with the products: Customers can purchase the replacement service simultaneously when buying SUNMI's third-generation products, with the service effectiveness period aligned with the product warranty period.
Inactivated devices: Within 12 months from the dispatch date of SUNMI and if the device has not been activated, the replacement service can be purchased separately, with the service effectiveness period aligned with the product warranty period.
Activated devices: If the device is activated within 90 days and is still under warranty, the following conditions must be met to purchase: √ Remaining warranty period ≥ replacement service purchase duration (e.g., if purchasing a 1-year replacement service, the warranty must have at least 1 year remaining). √ If the remaining warranty period is insufficient, an extended warranty service must be purchased first to cover the duration (available options presented in the next section).
The replacement service purchased for activated devices will take effect from the date of binding with SUNMI.
Note: The replacement service is only available for products that have a warranty period and where the warranty duration is greater than the duration of the replacement service purchased.

Device replacement service is offered in 1-year, 2-year or 3-year terms, with the maximum coverage period not to exceed 3 years (including the third year)
Service process and notes
Purchase process: √ Online purchase: Log in to the SUNMI official website → Select value-added service products → Add the replacement service → Complete payment →Electronic certificate generated instantly. √ Offline purchase: Contact SUNMI authorized partner → Submit device serial number → Sign service agreement.
The replacement service fee is priced based on the device models and purchase duration.
Effectiveness confirmation: An electronic certificate for replacement service will begenerated after purchase; click on【Warranty Inquiry】to view the device service protection details.
Performance timeliness: The faulty device must be sent out, and at same time SUNMI will dispatch the replacement device within 48 hours (delayed during holidays).
Replacement device: The replacement device includes but is not limited to new products or devices that are functional and in good conditions.
Shipping rules: The customer bears the one-way shipping cost of returning the faulty device to SUNMI,SUNMI bears the one-way shipping cost of sending the replacement device to the customer.
Rights inheritance: The replacement device inherits the remaining warranty period and service protection of the original product.
The scope of protection for the replacement service is the same as that of SUNMI standard warranty service; click on【SUNMI Warranty Policy】 to view related content.
The replacement service does not support returns or refunds.
Exclusions Explanation and Exemption Statement
The following situations are not covered by the replacement service, and repairs or replacements may involve paid services, including but not limited to:
Exceeding service life: Expiration of replacement service period.
Artificial damage/CID : Screen cracks, drops, liquid, corrosion, compression deformation, scratches, etc.
Improper operation: Unauthorized firmware flashing, virus attacks, system tampering, data loss.
Non-hardware failures: Software conflicts, data loss, system crashes, etc., need to be resolved through technical support.
Consumable components beyond 1 year standard warranty period: such as printer components, scanner components, cameras, gears, paper shafts, batteries, chargers, etc.
Unauthorized repairs: Device damage resulting from disassembly, modification, or repair without authorization from SUNMI.
Environmental factors: Failures caused by natural disasters or abnormal environments such as lightning strikes, high temperatures, humidity, or abnormal voltage.
Force majeure factors: Damage to devices caused by force majeure events such as wars, earthquakes, strikes etc.
Exceeding usage scope: Failures caused by using the device for illegal purposes or outside the operational range outlined in the manual.
Other failures or damage caused by issues not related to the device’s quality itself.
