Four New Awards Obtained at the Beginning of the New Year
On January 26th, Mai Bilian, the Chairman of Yangpu District Federation of Trade Unions, visited SUNMI headquarters in Shanghai, and awarded SUNMI the title of Top 100 Private Enterprises in Yangpu District in 2021, an official recognition from the government！

Also in January, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization published the list of 2021 Municipal Enterprise Technology Center, and SUNMI was one of them for its strong innovation capability and promising prospect. SUNMI will continuously strengthen its core scientific and technological capability to better empower the development of the industry.
Two projects submitted by SUNMI, named “The Secondary Node of Industrial Internet Identification Analysis for Smart New Retail Industry” and “The Cloud-Terminal Integrated Service for Business IoT”, were respectively awarded the titles of “2021 Industrial Internet Pilot Demonstration Project” and “2021 Shanghai International Service Trade Demonstration Project”. In 2022, SUNMI will dig deeper into the industry to live up to its high expectations!

A New SUNMI Home Opened in the New Year
On January 14th, Hefei SUNMI Home was officially opened, and a training course customized for the partners in Anhui province was held on the same day. In the future, together with partners, SUNMI will dedicate itself to better empowering more local and surrounding merchants with its abundant digital solutions.

On January 24th, students from Shanghai Yangpu Yuying School visited Shanghai SUNMI Home. This event was organized by Yangpu Wujiaochang Street, as a professional practice experience for the students. “Get Together to Start Anew!”
SUNMI Partners Session Held
From January 10th to 11th, the 2022 SUNMI Partners Session was held in Shanghai Headquarters. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, this session was carried out both online and offline. A total of 87 partners from all over the country participated in the session, with over 240 participants gathering in the online meeting to celebrate the annual accomplishment. And SUNMI also discussed the new policies and shared some typical cases with the partners.

SUNMI Annual Meeting Successfully Held to Greet the Chinese Year of the Tiger
On January 19th, SUNMI held the annual meeting in Shanghai Headquarters, and awarded the Annual Star Projects and Annual Star Employees. All the branches took part in the annual meeting by video conferencing. Moreover, the cosplay fair simultaneously held on that day also left the whole staff a wonderful memory.

New Cases: SUNMI Serves Global Merchants
The global cases rolled out in this month covered four SUNMI product lines: desktop terminals, mobile terminals, kiosk terminals, and payment terminals, which were applied in multiple countries including China, France, Malaysia, and Japan, etc.
The featured case of this month was about the membership warehouse store Debaisi, located in Hebei province. It showcased how SUMMI promoted a digital upgrade to the store together with partners, finally helping the store achieve accurate marketing and building customer loyalty.

SUNMI Overseas Activities
NRF 2022: Retail’s Big Show
From January 16th to 18th, SUNMI team went to New York to take part in the NFR 2022. Besides exhibiting the whole series of IoT devices for audiences to try out, SUNMI also displayed multiple digital solutions for sectors like F&B, retail, warehousing, digital store, etc. with software partners SpacePole and YumaPOS, which attracted lots of people to stop for enquiry and device try-out. SUNMI products also got much appreciation from the professional partners in the industry.

On January 26th, Mexico time, SUNMI held an online webinar for Latin America region. Centered on the new brand proposition, SUNMI and partners discussed on the topics like how to leverage electronic payment to enhance SUNMI’s competitiveness in the Latin America market, and SUNMI’s supportive policies for local partners.
