Notice on another postponement of CHINASHOP EXPO.
The 23rd China Retail Trade Fair, known as CHINASHOP, is postponed again due to COVID-19 pandemic, which was scheduled to be held from Sep. 1 to 3. The business IoT world co-built by SUNMI and partners will also be postponed again. We’re deeply sorry for bringing you any inconvenience. The 33rd SUNMI Home: Shanghai Yachao SUNMI Home was opened.
As of August 31st, 2022, a total of 33 SUNMI Homes have been opened in 28 cities globally, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Taipei, Lyon, etc. In the future, SUNMI will join hands with more partners to provide more merchants worldwide with localized services. Taipei SUNMI Home held several offline activities.
On August 22nd, the Asian IoT Association held the ESG & Sustainability Forum in Taipei SUNMI Home, discussing the challenges and opportunities enterprises facing under climate changes and low carbon economy. Doctor Songxing CHEN, an ESG expert from Donghua University, Zhongxin CAI, the deputy assistant manager of Siemens, Jundao CHEN, the GM of Startrust, and Liqi WU, the head of Digital Transformation Research Institute of the Institute for Information Industry, participated in this forum together to share their opinions.

On August 29th, together with a Taiwanese partner, MaiFood, SUNMI held a lecture focusing on “Improve Business Growth by Analyzing Members’ Consumption”. A heated discussion was carried out on site and attendees also experienced a broad set of SUNMI IoT devices and cloud-terminal integrated services during the forum.

SUNMI attended the National Smart Business Digital Operations Summit Forum & Service Transformation Conference.
On August 3rd, SUNMI was invited to attend the 2022 National Smart Business Digital Operations Summit Forum & Service Transformation Conference. Philip XIA, the director of Product and Solution Sales Department of SUNMI, delivered a keynote speech, sharing the development opportunities of business digitalization. During the conference, a diversified range of IoT devices exhibited by SUNMI attracted lots of participants to stop for enquiry.

Pham Minh Chinh, the Prime Minister of Vietnam, tries out SUNMI’s cashless payment solutions.
On August 4th, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized an activity focusing on digital transformation in banking industry, and the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, was present. He visited SUNMI’s partner VNPAY’s booth and tried out the cashless payment solutions jointly developed by SUNMI and VNPAY, and affirmed VNPAY's efforts for the digital transformation of Vietnamese banks.

A new SUNMI Home was opened in Chiang Mai to empower SUNMI partners in Thailand.
To better empower SUNMI partners in Thailand, a new SUNMI authorized store was opened in the second largest city in Thailand, Chiang Mai, which also is the third SUNMI Home opened in Thailand. A blessing ceremony with Thailand characteristics from local monks was carried out there. This means that as of August 2022, SUNMI authorized stores have covered the top three cities in Thailand, penetrated the Thai market, and achieved localization in the true sense.

A webinar was held in SUNMI Latin America region, discussing on the digital solutions for warehousing and logistics.
On August 24th, Mexico City time, SUNMI held a webinar focusing on the Latin America region, and Ham Torres, the sales manager of Latin America region of SUNMI, deeply analyzed the development trend of the logistics industry in Latin America, shared SUNMI’s digital solutions for logistics scenarios and many logistics use cases around the world, and had a heated discussion with participants online.
